PAS Mastura loses case against DAP Leaders: Poor ACADEMIC training and Wrong ISLAMIC Teachings

Source

I would like to make a comment from the perspective of whether this is a result of poor academic training on her part. Additionally, does she have the correct understanding of Islam? We all know about the issue that has been ongoing for many months, in which, during one of her ceramah (lectures) or political speeches, Dr. Mastura made a claim. She stated that Lim Guan Eng and Lim Kit Siang are biologically related to chimpanzees in the same way that Lee Kuan Yew is. Why did she say that?

They generally believe that he is searching for ideas because they are related. They also claim that he must be a communist and possibly someone who shares the ideology of the People's Action Party (PAP) in Singapore. This aspect of what we call relating lineage, or "keturunan" in Malay, suggests that if someone is deemed bad, then their son, daughter, or lineage is also considered bad. This is a very serious accusation; it implies that someone is always affected or influenced by their own lineage in terms of ideological practice, whether it be communism, socialism, or democratic activism. Given that Dr. Mastura has an academic degree, specifically a PhD, similar to mine, I feel compelled to comment on the determination of a person's integrity.

So firstly, with regards to the academic training, there are several things that I wish to say. Number one, Dr. Mastura said that she has referred to her claim about the DAP leaders relating to Chin Peng and also Recon Yu from a book taken from the Barisan Nasional campaign book. In relation to the DAP leadership regarding Chin Peng and Recon Yu from the book created by Barisan Nasional, in academic studies, we need to first consider who received this book. Why was the book received?

Here are two important questions. If we look at the book on aviation, it was accepted by the Barisan Nasional machinery for a campaign. Therefore, this is something that a PhD holder must know: Where is the source, and what kind of integrity does the source have? That is the first point. In a published book, like the ones I have authored or published with Dewan Bahasa and many other publishers, it is essential that a book undergoes a review process.

To handle the call of choice. So it has already become suspect. No. 2, a PhD holder must examine these rules. The rules state in the book that we say, "Qit siang" relates to blood, and "Qit si say," Lee Kuan Yew. Now, the first thing a PhD holder must do, or is indifferent to, or actually does not know, is what we call academic integrity.

So, that is the second point. Now, the third point about academic integrity is the idea of relating a person's ideology, such as communist ideology, to someone who is related to that person. Can an ideology be transferred through biology? This is an incredible question. It cannot be.

You can transmit or transfer diseases; you can transfer cells; you can transfer all these kinds of biological aspects in our bodies. But certainly, ideology has nothing to do with that. Ideology needs to be learned and practiced. If I were an architect, let's say, and I could design very well, that skill cannot be transferred for someone else to practice. If I were an architect, again, and I could design very well, that skill cannot be transferred to my sons or daughters.

None of my children want to be architects or even like architecture. This shows that, in one sense, it cannot be transferred biologically; it must be learned. There are things that can be transferred biologically, like diseases and traits—let’s say certain characteristics of the face, a certain gait, meaning how you walk, and even how you talk. These are very biologically determined, but ideology definitely requires learning. So, if scholars are going to accuse Lingkit Siang of having a communist ideology, they must look through his speeches, examine his writings, and also consider his relationships with other people and leaders, as well as what has transpired through those relationships.

This will serve as the evidence to suggest that Linky Siang is a communist. It is not accurate to claim that simply because he is biologically related to someone, he is automatically a communist. That reasoning is very unacademic and, quite frankly, quite silly. These are the three academic aspects that I believe Dr. Mastura has failed to recognize. This situation has, in fact, put her integrity as a PhD to the test, which is necessary to verify what is referred to as the truth. Next, I would like to comment on the aspect of Islamic teachings, as Dr. Mastura and I are both Muslims. Furthermore, Dr. Mastura is associated with the so-called Party Islam Malaysia.

And I know this because I used to be a member of Parti Islam Malaysia. They conduct a lot of educational workshops, and their members are very well-versed in ideology. I am surprised that Dr. Mastura has ignored the Prophet Muhammad's farewell speech, which is a well-documented hadith and is widely recognized by most Muslims. In Islam, Arabs have no superiority over non-Arabs, and non-Arabs have no superiority over Arabs. Race is not considered in Islam, nor is skin color; a Black person has no superiority over a White person, and a White person has no superiority over a Black person. The only distinctions among people are based on good actions and piety (taqwa). Taqwa means always speaking well and acknowledging Allah, especially in matters where one has done wrong. Furthermore, people are judged by their actions and intentions. In another hadith, it is noted that individuals are not judged by their fathers or by lineage, nor does being from a certain family or being related to criminals or bad individuals determine a person's worth. You cannot judge a person by their lineage in that way. Islam teaches that all humanity descends from Adam and Eve, and there is no inherent difference based on race or ethnicity; all men are equal in the eyes of Allah.

So, by trying to relate the idea of the Chinese being communist, it's certainly not something that is relevant or indicative of good action. This is how one can judge a person's character in this world, rather than through blood relations. Therefore, I would like to conclude by saying that although Past Mastura has a PhD, she may not have had rigorous training in establishing the integrity of her skills. Being a good person cannot be solely attributed to other aspects of what we call human biology or the idea of good family relations. With that, thank you for tuning into my channel. Salam sejahtera.
